Dynamic Web Gallery Generator
Universal NetGallery is an image processing tool for automatic generation of a web gallery. The input is a directory containing a set of images, and the output is a structured web site, where images are displayed automatically. Every image is compressed at a level choosen by the user, together with other aspects like size, color, and background.
Description of the tool

Nb: Only steps 1, 2 and 6 are esential.
Step 1: Select the type of image (.bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, and .ico) by checking the corresponding boxes.
Step 2: Select directory containing your image files. Use the Browse button or select from the list of previously opened directories. One the selection is preformed, a list of files is generated ( the list is truncated over 10 if you are using a free version ).
Step 3: Edit your list by removing undesired files ( Remove Selection button). Use the Reload button to reload the original list of files.
Step 4: Edit your images by providing some settings for any of them ( select from the list by clicking on the image of your choice).
Zoom In reduces the size of the image with a fix scaling factor.
Zoom Out increases the size of the image with a fix scaling factor.
Change Size changes the size of the image according to the values provides in the corresponding boxes (witdh and height).
Compression Quality ( from 5 to 100 ) reduces the size of the image by appliying a jpeg compression at the expense of the quality.
Black and White removes color information
Border Size specifies whether the image should be bordered or not and provides the size of the border ( 0 for no border ).
Color determines the color of the border
Send This Image by Email enables to send the current image via an email to a given correspondant
You just need to provides your name and your email, the same for your correspondant, and the message (if any). An email will be sent with the current image as attachement. However, before using this feature, you should provide the name of your mail server and your ID on this serveur ( button Parameters ).

Background Image enables to selected a background image for your images

Step 5: You should assign a name to your gallery and provide the time interval between two image displays.
Step 6: Build your gallery ( button Build Gallery ). You will be asked to first select ( or create) a target directory.
Step 7: Publish your gallery ( button Web Publishing ). You should first provide information about the server (name, your ID, and your Password). Next, click on the button Connect to initiate the connection. Once the connection is established, the name of the current directory is provided in the corresponding text box and the list of subdirectories is available in the Change directory listbox. When you select a subdirectory, the ChDir function is automatically executed. You may create a specific directory ( button Create ) under the current directory. When you have selected the directory of your choice, you should also select a directory in your machine (directory containinn the gallery to be published). Now, press the buton Publish to perform the transfer.
